FAA and phplist
The US Federal Aviation Administration's Eastern Region office uses phplist to notify pilots, instructors, mechanics, and airport owners of important safety information. Subscribers are able to choose from 222 different lists to select areas of interest that are most important to them. The best part
of phplist over a mailing list is that the same person can be subscribed to multiple lists, but only receive one copy of any announcement. It works great!
